ksu excellence in actionUndergraduate Programs

Graduates of the ADED Program receive an Ohio four-year Provisional Teaching license for teaching adolescents and young adults ages 12 - 21, grades 7 - 12.

Students complete a program consisting of three components: general education, professional education and in-depth study in the teaching field(s) for which state licensure is sought.

One of the strengths of Kent's program is its emphasis on the use of technology in the classroom and professional development that includes two methods of teaching courses in their major area and a full-year internship in a middle school, junior high school or high school.
