The Kent State University chapter of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) is open to all Kent State University students interested in pursuing a career in the growing meeting and event planning industry. Students participate in various fundraising events; go on tours of hotels, conference and convention centers; listen to industry leaders; and attend the annual convention that provides networking and career opportunities.
KSU Chapter of PCMA wins BIG!!!
The Kent State University Chapter of PCMA was selected as one of four winners of the Student Chapter of the Year (SCOTY) award.
Winners receive $500 from the PCMA Education Foundation to fund chapter projects, events, and activities.
Brittany Belko, Treasurer for the KSU Chapter of PCMA was awarded one of three Annual Meeting Scholarships.
Winners receive complimentary airfare, hotel accommodations for four nights, and registration to the 53rd PCMA Annual Meeting,
January 11-14, 2009, in New Orleans, LA.
