Site of the month:
| October 2009 |
www.eduplace.com/kids/tales.com |
This site offers a variety of fun activities. A student favorite is the Wacky Web Tales activity. This site offers a creative way to practice developing stories and using parts of speech. Your child can create his/her own story by filling in the story components (e.g., who, what, where, etc.) and parts of speech (e.g., verbs, nouns); the results are often silly. The personalized stories are a great incentive to learn.
